Notes on issue 10
For our next issue, our theme will be: graphic poetry. ***PLEASE NOTE: If you submit work that does not have a graphic element, we will pair you with an artist who will work with you in making your poem graphic. Just indicate as such in the Google Form.
We invite you to submit pieces that are graphic to some degree, be it with illustrations, concrete poetry, word art, or something new! Send us your most experimental pieces with a graphic, imagistic, visual element to it. Interpret that how you will! Here's an example of a graphic poem we love. Be bold, take risks, and have fun!
If you have questions, concerns, or comments about Issue 10, fill out our contact form to get in touch! We'd love to communicate and collaborate to get your work published with us, so please don't hesitate to reach out!
There are TWO WAYS to submit: either through a Google Form (white button) or by emailing it to us directly (black button). You only need to either email us or use the Form, not both. For email submissions, please read the SUBMISSIONS portion for guidelines.

Submissions
ShufPoetry will always be open for submissions twice per year, during the months of January and July for the Spring and Fall issues. Please submit up to three poems as three separate attachments (audio file, gif file, pdf). One attachment per poem.
Please include a short bio and little info (a brief artist statement) about your poem(s) in the comments field.
To save time, please send only jpegs of any written work. Most of the poems we publish have some visual elements so pay attention to how you wish your poem to look on the website. We absolutely love audio, video, and animated poems. Before you send in work, browse through the archive to see what kinds of things we like.
We ask that the poems, audio files, or video clips be previously unpublished. We are unable to pay for work accepted, but we do accept simultaneous submissions as long as you promise (pinky swear!) to notify us if the work is accepted somewhere else. If we have published your work already, please wait two issues before sending in new work (stop crying, we love you, but we got to let the new guys in).
Remember--
We reserve rights for first publication online, after that all rights revert to individual authors.
And we want experimental work, so go wild, then go wilder.
